Armenian, Czech FMs discuss situation in Karabakh conflict zone

Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan on Wednesday held a phone conversation with Tomáš Petříček, the Foreign Minister of the Czech Republic.
The ministers exchanged views on the recent developments of the situation in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone.
Presenting the current situation resulting from the aggression instigated by Azerbaijan, Mnatsakanyan expressed his deep concern over the targeting of the civilian population and infrastructure of Artsakh by the adversary in violation of international law, the Armenian Foreign Ministry reported.
The foreign minister condemned Turkey’s policy of sowing instability in the region by the deployment foreign terrorist fighters and the direct involvement of the latter in the hostilities.
Both sides emphasized the importance of the immediate cessation of the military operations.
