Azerbaijan sent a third group of firefighters and amphibious aircraft to Turkey
On the last day, Russian border guards are located at the border Armenian village of Voskepar, which is on the border with the Gazakh region of Azerbaijan. Their appearance raised a lot of questions in Armenia. The Ministry of Defense of this country said that the border guards are carrying out "construction work of logistic support" in the area.
Meanwhile, rumors about the imminent return to Azerbaijan of two enclaves seized by the Armenians in the early 90s are being actively discussed in Yerevan.
In these enclaves and on the border, the Armenians captured and burned 7 villages, the return of which is demanded by Azerbaijan. The village of Voskepar is located just between one of the enclaves and the Gazakh region of Azerbaijan.
It is noteworthy that a day earlier, representatives of the Russian Foreign Ministry rejected the proposal of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to deploy Russian border guards on the border with Azerbaijan.
It can be assumed that after winning the elections and strengthening Pashinyan's positions, he decided to fulfill one of the conditions of Baku on the return of 7 captured villages to Azerbaijan. As for the Russian border guards, they must apparently ensure the safety of the Armenian residents who will find themselves in the immediate vicinity of the Azerbaijanis.
An indirect confirmation of this is the latest statements by Pashinyan and his entourage that Armenia is ready to begin the process of demarcation and delimitation of the border with Azerbaijan.
