Armenia agreed to road to Azerbaijan

Road connection between Azerbaijan and Armenia can be restored in accordance with the results of the meetings of the heads of state Ilham Aliyev and Nikol Pashinyan, which took place on November 26 in Sochi and on December 14 in Brussels, the Armenian Prime Minister said in Tbilisi.
"I would like to note that after the meeting on November 26 in Sochi with the mediation of Russian President Vladimir Putin and on December 14 in Brussels with the mediation of the President of the European Council Charles Michel, it became possible to reach an agreement with Azerbaijan on the resumption of automobile communication," TASS cited him as saying with reference to the press service of the Cabinet.
The head of government explained that if this is done, the "North-South" project - within its framework a road is being built that will connect the Armenian-Georgian border with the border of Armenia and Iran - will be transformed into the "North-South", "East-West" route.
