Members of the Joint Working Group (JWG) on human rights from among human rights defenders are holding discussions with representatives of state bodies for the release of opposition leader Tofig Yagublu from prison. Turan was informed about this by a member of the JWG, human rights activist Novella Jafaroglu.
According to her, the members of the JWG appeal to their partners in the JWG from among representatives of government agencies, deputies, members of the commission on pardon, and heads of law enforcement agencies.
