British HALO Trust handed over map of Artsakh minefields to Turkish special services (24news.am)

British HALO Trust making charity work in Artsakh provided Turkish special services with map of Artsakh minefields.
It gave them an opportunity to successfully pass through the minefields during the 44-day war.
24News learnt about it from Artsakh president’s representative on special assignments Boris Avagyan.
“I have learned from reliable sources that the HALO Trust company, which operated under the name of a British charitable organization and was engaged in clearing landmines, obtained maps of the minefields of the Armenian side and handed them over to the Turkish special services. This is why during the war the adversary managed to successfully pass through the minefields. Under the name of studying dangerous areas, this company has carried out reconnaissance operations in the whole territory of Artsakh. The organization was founded by member of British Parliament and former colonel of British army Colin Campbell Mitchell in 1988,” Avagyan said.
