President of Turkmenistan Gurbangulu Berdimuhamedov arrives in Azerbaijan for official visit
President of Turkmenistan Gurbangulu Berdimuhamedov has arrived in the Republic of Azerbaijan for an official visit. He was met by Azerbaijani First Deputy Prime Minister Yaqub Eyyubov, Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov and other officials, Trend reports.
Following the official welcome ceremony, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Turkmenistan’s President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a one-on-one meeting. Further they have been joined by their delegations for a meeting in an expanded format.
The presidents made speeches at the event.
