Germany gifts 12 new vehicles to Georgian Defence Ministry
Germany has gifted 12 new vehicles to the Georgian Defence Ministry - eight water tank careers and four container careers.
The German government has allocated 1.5 million euros for the purchase of the vehicles, according to Agenda.ge. Georgian Defence Minister Irakli Garibashvili has thanked Germany for the “continued support.” Germany is an active supporter of Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. We very much appreciate our close partnership with the country and the support we receive from Germany for the development of our country and integration into Euro-Atlantic structures,” Garibashvili stated.
The German ambassador to Georgia, German diplomats and Georgian officials attended the presentation of the vehicles earlier today.
