Azerbaijani FM: Armenia declared that it returned to process
"If Azerbaijan did not believe in the peace process and agreement, it wouldn't have initiated it," Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at a joint press conference with Catherine Colonna, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France, APA reports.
"This call was made by Azerbaijani President in January 2020. The next steps towards the peace agreement were taken by us. Of course, we express our gratitude to all mediators. At least, after that Armenia declared that it returned to the process. Holding further negotiations is a very significant next stage and step of the process.We support and welcome this process. Azerbaijan will particepate in the peace process and it is ready to do everything possible to advance it," minister said.
