US, Turkey foreign policy chiefs discuss Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process
Newly appointed US Secretary of State Marco Rubio had a telephone conversation with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, according to a US Department of State readout attributable to Department Spokesperson Tammy Bruce.
Among other matters, they “discussed the importance of a durable and dignified peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan.”
The interlocutors touched also upon US-Turkey relations and the situation in Syria.
