Training of Bulgarian pilots for new F-16 fighters under way
The training of Bulgarian pilots who will fly the new F-16 fighters has begun at the Air Force Base in Dolna Mitropolia. "You are about to go through complex preparations, be worthy of the opportunity you have been given", Air Force Commander Major General Tsanko Stoykov said at the inaugural ceremony, according to BNR. The group will undergo initial theoretical training and, after passing the exams, the pilots will start flying drills. After the successful completion of the course in Bulgaria, the pilots will continue their training in the USA.
