Moscow urges Turkey to exercise restraint in Karabakh issue – Kremlin
Moscow urges all the regional players to exercise restraint in the situation in Nagorno Karabakh, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told the reporters on Wednesday, asked about Ankara’s statement about the conflict.
In particular, on September 29 Anadolu news agency citing the statement of Turkey’s FM Mevlut Cavusoglu reported that Turkey is ready to assist Azerbaijan in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict both on diplomatic level and in military way.
“Turkey is ready to assist Azerbaijan both at the table of negotiations and on the battlefield,” the agency quoted his words
“We do not support such statements and do not agree with them. I already told yesterday that there is no need to add fuel to the fire here,” Peskov stressed.
