Turkish military unit arrived to the Joint monitoring center

Turkish military, who will work in the joint Russian-Turkish monitoring Center, went to Azerbaijan. This is reported by the Turkish TV channel NTV.
According to the report, the servicemen of the Turkish Armed forces under the command of a Brigadier General went to Azerbaijan.
The report emphasizes that from January, the Turkish military, along with the Russian ones, will serve in the Joint monitoring center established to monitor the ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh.
From September 27 to November 10, 2020, the second Karabakh war took place between Armenia and Azerbaijan. As a result of military operations, Azerbaijan liberated from occupation 5 cities (Fizuli, Jabrail, Zangilan, Gubadli, Shusha), several villages, 300 villages. on November 10, a statement proposed by Armenia was signed with the mediation of Russia. According to the statement, Armenia returned Lachin, Kelbajar and Aghdam districts to Azerbaijan without a fight.
According to the statement, Russia has sent peacekeepers to Nagorno-Karabakh to monitor the ceasefire. One of the points in this document was the creation of a Joint monitoring center consisting of the Turkish-Russian military.
The center is located in the Agdam district.
