Peskov on Russia's relations with Azerbaijan and Armenia
Russia has excellent trusting relations with Azerbaijan, spokesman for the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said in the interview with the Argumenty i Fakty newspaper.
According to him, Moscow has "excellent trusting relations" with Baku, which are "based on mutual respect."
"They can have a lot of aspects that are of mutual benefit," Peskov stressed.
Speaking of Armenia, he said Russia has "historically good relations" with the country. The spokesman explained that Russia and Armenia are linked by a number of integration processes benefiting Yerevan, both in political and economic terms.
Touching upon the issue of the Second Karabakh War, he noted that "everyone should remember the personal role played by the Russian President in stopping the Second Karabakh War."
