We will take the necessary step if Armenia appreciates the new opportunities for sustainable peace in our region, Erdogan says
"Turkey held bilateral and multilateral diplomatic talks to restore peace and stability in our region," Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at a meeting with foreign ambassadors to Turkey in the Ahlat region of Bitlis on the 950th anniversary of the Malazgirt victory, APA's local bureau reports.
Mr. Erdogan emphasized that with the end of the occupation of Nagorno-Karabakh, a new window of opportunity has opened for sustainable peace in the region: "We have stated that if Armenia appreciates these opportunities, we will take the necessary step."
