Russia, Turkey MODs to set up joint monitoring center in Artsakh

The Russian and Turkish Defense Ministries on Tuesday will sign a special agreement on the establishment of a joint monitoring center to maintain the ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh [(Artsakh)], Interfax reported, citing a diplomatic source.
The activities of this monitoring corps shall be regulated by the fifth point of the joint statement by the leaders of Armenia, Russia, and Azerbaijan.
Earlier, Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev announced that a joint Russian-Turkish peacekeeping mission will operate in Nagorno-Karabakh.
