Turkey proposes new meeting with Armenia in Ankara or Yerevan

Turkey has proposed Armenia to hold fresh normalization talks in Ankara or Yerevan, but Armenia has not responded to it yet, RIA Novosti reports, citing its diplomatic source in Ankara.
“When it comes to the process aimed at normalizing relations between the two countries, it would be logical for negotiations to be held without the involvement of third countries and forces. We have proposed a meeting in Ankara or Yerevan, but have not received a response yet," the source said.
The Armenian and Turkish special envoys, Ruben Rubinyan and Serdar Kilic, have held four meetings for the normalization of bilateral ties so far. The latest round of talks were held in Vienna on July 1.
The previous meetings were also held in Vienna and Moscow this year.
