Ilham Aliyev to Putin: Russia-Azerbaijan ties strengthen for 30 years based on respect and trust
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin in connection with the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
"Azerbaijani-Russian relations, based on centuries-old traditions of friendship and good neighborliness between our peoples, have successfully developed and strengthened in the spirit of strategic partnership and mutually beneficial cooperation based on the principles of mutual respect and trust, taking into account each other's interests over the past three decades," a letter reads.
