Two Russian drones have been discovered in Moldova
Moldova has reported finding Russian drones that fell within the country. The drones were discovered on Sunday in different parts of the country. Moldovan experts concluded that at least one of them was not equipped with explosives.
According to the police, two drones were found within a 24-hour period. The first drone was reported by a resident of the village of Farladani in the southeast of the country. Specialists who arrived at the scene examined the drone and determined that it was of Russian manufacture and did not contain explosives. The second drone was found in a field near the village of Novye Boroseny in the north of Moldova. The police have not yet disclosed the conclusions of the experts regarding this drone.
The police assured that there are no risks to the safety of citizens. Moldova's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mihai Popșoi, later called the drones Russian in a social media post. He stated that the country's authorities condemn the incident, as well as the ongoing military actions in Ukraine.
