Armenia MOD representative: Fierce battles in progress at Artsakh-Azerbaijan conflict zone
At the moment, fierce battles are in progress in the same directions of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh). Artsrun Hovhannisyan, a representative of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, on Thursday morning wrote about this on Facebook.
Shushan Stepanyan, spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, had stated earlier that the relatively stable tensions had remained in the Artsakh-Azerbaijani conflict zone overnight.
"In the morning, the adversary resumed active artillery fire in the northern and southeastern directions [of Artsakh]," she had added.
On September 27, the Azerbaijani armed forces launched a large-scale attack against Artsakh, targeting the civilian population, too.
