Ilham Aliyev meets with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Government

On January 3, the President Ilham Aliyev met with Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Government, co-chairman of the Russian-Azerbaijani intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation, Alexey Overchuk, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan.
The sides noted the successful development of strategic partnership and friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Russia, reads the official statement.
The parties considered the directions of bilateral cooperation in the economic, energy, transport, agricultural spheres in 2021.
Overchuk arrived in Baku from Yerevan, where he discussed similar issues with the head of the Armenian government.
