Ilham Aliyev on the results of the meeting in Moscow: We need to think about how to live in the neighborhood Politics

Armenia will have a railway connection with Russia through the territory of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday.
"After more than 30 years, Azerbaijan will restore transport communication via the territory of Armenia with the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan, and the Republic of Armenia will have a railway access through the territory of Azerbaijan to Russia and Iran," Aliyev said.
He noted that Azerbaijan will also have access to Turkey through the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic.
All this will become possible as a result of the implementation of the trilateral statement signed in Moscow on January 11.
At the briefing after the signing of the document, Aliyev said that the meeting was important for ensuring the security of the region. He believes that the parties are ready to draw a line under the Karabakh war in September-November 2020.
Further, Aliyev noted the importance of regional transport projects, which are beneficial for everyone, and gave a positive assessment to the Russian peacekeeping forces in Karabakh. “We must think about the future and how we can live together in the neighborhood,” Aliyev noted.
