Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf arrived in Moscow on Monday, where he met with Russian State Duma lower parliament house Vyacheslav Volodin.

During the meeting, Galibaf conveyed to the speaker a message from the spiritual leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei, to Russian President Vladimir Putin, the press service of the Duma reported.

"During the meeting, Mohammad Bagher Galibaf conveyed a message to Russian President Vladimir Putin from the spiritual leader of Iran Ali Khamenei to the chairman of the State Duma Viacheslav Volodin," the press service said.

Volodin noted that this is the first international visit of Ghalibaf as chairman of the Iranian Mejlis.
