Georgia announces candidate for the post of Prime Minister
Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Garibashvili has been nominated for the post of Prime Minister, APA's bureau in Georgia reports.
The relevant decision was made at the meeting of the ruling Georgian Dream party.
Today, Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia resigned. He attributed his resignation to the arrest of Nikanor Melia, chairman of the opposition United National Movement party.
