Russia’s Lavrov to arrive in Yerevan, to discuss implementation of Karabakh agreements

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Wednesday will arrive in Yerevan where he is scheduled to meet with Armenia’s leadership, on Thursday. Then, on May 10 and 11, the Russian FM will pay a working visit to Baku, TASS reported.
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that during these contacts it is planned to "discuss in detail a wide range of issues of bilateral and regional cooperation, as well as cooperation in the international arena."
But the priority topic of these talks will be the implementation of the existing agreements on the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) conflict. "Priority will be paid to the practical aspects of the implementation of the statements of the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia on November 9, 2020 and January 11, 2021 on Nagorno-Karabakh," Zakharova said.
