Armenian MFA announces suspension of visa-free regime with Iran
The visa-free travel regime between the Armenian and Iranian citizens was temporarily suspended amid the coronavirus outbreak, Armenian MFA said in a statement. according to News.am.
To visit Armenia, Iranian citizens now must get visas in advance. Thus, it is necessary to apply to the embassies / consular offices of Armenia in foreign countries or to obtain a visa through the e-system.
The MFA, in turn, reports that the Armenian embassy in Iran is operating in emergency mode, therefore consular reception has been temporarily suspended, and the visa can be obtained only through the e-system.
