Georgia supports Pashinyan's New Vision to open borders and communications

The political and economic stability of Armenia is directly related to the stability of Georgia and the region as a whole, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said at a joint press conference with his Armenian counterpart Nikol Pashinyan on September 8.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan arrived in Georgia on a two-day official visit on Wednesday. Pashinyan had his first meeting with Garibashvili.
"I would like to congratulate Mr. Prime Minister once again on his recent election victory. This is undoubtedly a good opportunity to start a new era for Armenia and the Armenian people," Garibashvili is quoted by Sputnik Georgia.
As the head of the Georgian government noted, the Karabakh war was a difficult challenge for the region. “But now, having familiarized myself with the new vision of the prime minister, I believe that this challenge will transform into a new opportunity that will bring prosperity to Armenia and the Armenian people,” Garibashvili said, without disclosing what this “new vision” is.
However, Pashinyan himself said this this morning, calling for the normalization of relations with Turkey and the opening of borders and communications.
