Blinken and Cavusoglu discuss relations with Armenia
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken held a phone talk with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu on Monday, with whom he discussed a number of issues, including relations with Armenia.
Secretary of State Blinken and Foreign Minister Cavusoglu discussed the importance of continuing to coordinate their actions in connection with the threat of Russian escalation in Ukraine.
They also discussed Turkey's appointment of a special envoy to discuss the process of normalizing relations with Armenia and the possibility of deepening cooperation on a bilateral basis and as NATO allies to resolve issues of mutual interest.
