USAID ready to support Georgian agricultural sector
Minister of environmental protection and agricolture of Georgia Levan Davitashvili has met chief of mission of the United States Agency for International Development (USSAID) in Georgia Peter Wiebler, Georgia Online reports according to the ministry's press service.
The minister thanked the American side for their support in this difficult situation and underlined the importance of bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting the sides discussed issues like cooperation in the sphere of garbage recycling, food security, support to small and medium enterprises. Wiebler underlined importance of the ministry's activities in the sphere of support to Georgia's food security. He expressed his support to Minister Davitashvili.
