Erdogan: Turkey, as NATO member does not want war between Russia and Ukraine
Turkey, as a NATO member country, does not want war between Russia and Ukraine, Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said, TASS reported.
"We don't want that kind of conflict between Russia and Ukraine," Erdogan said in a speech broadcast by the TRT channel, adding that he will visit Ukraine and receive Russia's President Vladimir Putin afterward.
"In terms of foreign policy, our goal is not to make more enemies, but to make friends. Until today, we have always sought to make friends, be it with Russia, with Ukraine, with Iran, especially with European countries," Erdogan said.
