Azerbaijan plans to build a power line through the Zangezur corridor to Nakhchivan

Azerbaijan plans to build a power transmission line through the Zangezur corridor to Nakhchivan and from there to Turkey and Iran. Head of the state Ilham Aliyev said this in an interview with Azertaj agency on Friday.
"At present, we are working on a new energy project to lay a power line to Nakhchivan and from there to international markets - Turkey and Iran.
The Zangezur corridor is not only railroad, automobile and air route. This route will also play its role in supplying various types of energy to Nakhchivan, an integral part of Azerbaijan," Aliyev said.
