Iran security council chief to visit Azerbaijan

Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, Rear Admiral Ali Shamkhani, is set to visit Baku on Friday, Mehr reported.
Shamkhani will visit the Azerbaijani capital at the invitation of his Azerbaijani counterpart.
He is set to meet also with Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev to discuss Iran-Azerbaijan ties and the latest regional and international developments.
To note, Shamkhani had visited the Armenian capital Yerevan last week.
