Blinken calls on Azerbaijan’s Aliyev to adhere to ceasefire

The US Secretary of State Antony Blinken had a telephonic conversation Sunday with President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan, according to a US Department of State readout attributable to spokesperson Ned Price
"Secretary Blinken welcomed a halt to recent hostilities between Armenia and Azerbaijan. He urged President Aliyev to adhere to the ceasefire, disengage military forces, and work to resolve all outstanding issues between Armenia and Azerbaijan through peaceful negotiations" the statement continues
To note, Nancy Pelosi, the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the US Congress, is visiting Yerevan these days.
