Pediatricians in Bulgaria demand that children be allowed walks in the park and in mountain

Pediatricians in Bulgaria are recommending the introduction of a time interval for parents to take their children out in the fresh and air and sunshine in town parks and in the mountains, while observing all restrictions connected with the coronavirus epidemic, BNR reports.
They say they are afraid that isolation at home over a long period and limited exercise can lead to a collapse of the immunity system and neurosis.
“Good immunity in children can be built up by means of a balanced diet, walks in the fresh air and exercise,” said pediatrician Dr. Nikolina Koleva in an interview for the BNR.
