I.Aliyev: France is the author of provocation against Azerbaijan

As part of the summit of the Francophonie countries, a provocation was planned against Azerbaijan, the author of which was France, stated on Monday by the head of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, at a meeting dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party. “The author of this provocation was France, and now France patronizes Armenia. They call each other sisters, and this is especially emphasized, although they could also call them brothers,” Aliyev noted.
“The initial version of the resolution prepared there was based on purely anti-Azerbaijani theses and completely contradicted reality,” Aliyev continued. - All anti-Azerbaijani theses were removed thanks to the efforts of our friends from the Francophonie organization. And the Franco-Armenian tandem could not take advantage of this opportunity.” Aliyev called this another indicator of international prestige and the growth of a friendly country.
According to him, even in organizations where Azerbaijan does not participate, it has more friends than Armenia, and in particular the CSTO. Aliyev noted that Armenia's attempts to oppose the CSTO against Azerbaijan failed because other members of the organization did not succumb to Yerevan's provocations. “So what does this say? We have more friends in this organization than Armenia,” Aliyev said.
