Bulgaria continues to work on Belene NPP and Balkan Stream projects despite Covid-19 pandemic

Bulgaria continues to work on all big strategic projects despite the Covid-19 pandemic, Bulgarian Minister of Energy Temenuzhka Petkova said at a briefing at the Council of Ministers building, according to BNR.
The fulfillment of the two major infrastructure projects in the gas sector- the Balkan Stream and the Bulgaria-Greece interconnector is carried out in strict compliance with the safety measures. As for the project for construction of the second nuclear power plant in Bulgaria-Belene NPP, the five shortlisted candidates have signed a confidentiality agreement. They received Information Memorandum with basic information about the project, so they can prepare their binding offers, Minister Patkova said further.
