Putin and Aliyev discussed the security issues of the region

Late on Thursday evening, a telephone conversation took place between the presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan, the Kremlin press service reported.
Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev “discussed practical measures aimed at ensuring security and stability in the South Caucasus in line with the well-known trilateral agreements between the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia.
An exchange of views was also held on the development of transport, logistics and economic ties in the region,” – reads the report.
