U.S. reaffirms strong support for Armenia's territorial integrity

The United States has reaffirmed its unwavering support for Armenia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity following the Lemkin Institute’s latest Red Flag Alert for Azerbaijan in Armenia.
In a statement on October 31, it cited the “alarming potential for an invasion of Armenia by Azerbaijan in the coming days and weeks.”
In response to a VOA Armenian Service request to comment, the U.S. State Department said on Thursday that any violation of Armenia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity would lead to “serious consequences”.
“The United States resolutely supports Armenia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. We have stressed that any violation of this sovereignty and territorial integrity would lead to serious consequences," the State Department noted.
