Armenia, Azerbaijan parliament speakers meet in Geneva
A meeting of the speaker of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, with the speaker of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan, Sahiba Gafarova, was held Thursday, in Geneva, Switzerland, Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned from the NA.
The talk was held within the framework of the First Meeting of the Preparatory Committee for the Sixth World Conference of Speakers of Parliament of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, and by the mediation of this organization.
Simonyan is in Geneva to attend the preparatory committee meeting of the Sixth World Conference of Speakers of Parliament.
