Ukraine Expands Domestic Arms Production: 60% of Weapons Now Produced Inside the Country

Ukrainian
President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that as of today, about 60% of the weaponry used by the
Ukrainian army is manufactured by domestic enterprises. This
marks a significant increase compared to July, when the figure stood at 50%.
According to the president, Ukraine is actively developing
the production of drones, air
defense systems, and precision munitions, which significantly
reduces dependence on external supplies. Zelensky emphasized that this progress
is the result of investments, government programs, and partnerships with the
private sector.
“We are doing everything so that Ukraine can rely on its own strength and its own industry. The more weapons we produce ourselves, the more resilient our defense becomes”, – the president stated.
Experts note that the growth of domestic arms production allows Ukraine to replenish stockpiles more quickly, adapt technologies to frontline needs, and strengthen the country’s defense independence.
