Qasem Soleimani had planned attacks in countries outside the Middle East, including Bulgaria

Iranian general Qasem Soleimani, leader of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, who was killed by а US drone strike in Baghdad, had allegedly been planning attacks in a number of countries, including Bulgaria, Germany, Bosnia, Kenya, Bahrain and Turkey. This was reported by BNR, with reference to the Serbian edition of the BBC, citing resolution 466 submitted to the US Senate "to pay tribute to members of the US military and intelligence community who fulfilled the mission, killing Qasem Soleimani." The document also reads that "the fight against the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps-Quds Force (IRGC–QF) and any organizations associated with them that pose a threat to the US national security will continue."
