Armenia department for confiscation of illegal property is formed
The Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia is carrying out the staffing of the structural division carrying out the functions envisaged by the law on confiscation of illegal property, informed the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office, according to News.am.
And by Thursday's order of Prosecutor General Artur Davtyan, Siro Amirkhanyan has been appointed Head of the Department for Illegal Property Confiscation of the Prosecutor General's Office.
Considering that the five prosecutors of this department have already been appointed, this department is considered to be established, and the above-mentioned law, in fact, enters into force in full.
And taking this circumstance into account, Prosecutor General Artur Davtyan held a working consultation on the same day with the deputy coordinator of the functions aimed at confiscating illegal property in Armenia and the newly appointed prosecutors of the newly created department.
The prosecutor general noted that the created division will carry out activities of a nature and scope that is unprecedented for Armenia.
