EU sanctions no major problem for Turkey, Erdoğan says
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan downplayed the potential of EU sanctions against Turkey, as he said the country is used to such threats, while he said sanctions would not cause a major problem for the country.
"EU’s proposed sanctions on Turkey would not be a major problem for us. EU has been already imposing sanctions on Turkey from time to time for years now," Erdoğan told reporters in a news conference in Eseboğa Airport in the capital Ankara, before his departure for an official visit to attend victory celebrations in Azerbaijan's capital Baku.
