Russian MFA: Deployment of Scandinavian peacekeepers in Nagorno Karabakh conflict zone must be discussed with conflicting parties

Russian Foreign Affairs Ministry representatives noted that Moscow does not have complete information about U.S. initiative to deploy Scandinavian peacekeepers in Nagorno Karabakh.
Earlier Washington stated that the U.S. Government is discussing the opportunity of sending Scandinavian peacekeepers to Nagorno Karabakh.
“The idea of deploying peacekeepers from Scandinavian countries in Karabakh must be discussed with the conflicting parties,” Russia’s deputy foreign minister Andrey Rudenko stated.
