Aliyev and Putin discussed the Monitoring Center and bilateral issues
On Saturday, a telephone conversation took place between the presidents of Azerbaijan and Russia.
"Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev welcomed the lauch of the Joint Russian-Turkish Center for Control over the Ceasefire and All Military Operations in Karabakh, which opened today in Azerbaijan.
It was hoped that the Center's activities will contribute to further stabilization of the situation around Nagorno-Karabakh and due observance of the agreements, recorded in the Statement of the Presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of Armenia on November 9, 2020.
In addition, some topical issues of Russian-Azerbaijani bilateral cooperation were discussed", - the press service of the Russian president says.
