Baku extradited five Armenian prisoners of war, Yerevan freed one Azerbaijani
Late in the evening on February 9, another exchange of prisoners took place between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
So, Armenia released one prisoner, and Azerbaijan - five prisoners of war.
The pows on a Russian military plane to Baku and back to Yerevan were accompanied by the commander of the Russian peacekeepers, General Rustam Muradov.
This is the third exchange of prisoners of war between Armenia and Azerbaijan after the peace agreement of November 2020.
The exact number of prisoners of war on each side is unknown.
