Armenia’s authorities exert pressure on judge examining ex-chief of General Staff Onik Gasparyan’s lawsuit – lawyer

Armenia’s authorities exert pressure on judge of Administrative court Mher Petrosyan who will examine the case of the ex-chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces Onik Gasparyan.
The ex-top military applied to the court to dispute the legality of his dismissal from the post.
Lawyer Mihran Poghosyan wrote on Facebook that the criminal society of cops and lawyers are involved in the operation against the judge and his relatives.
“I ask judge Petrosyan to resist the pressure and remember that in this way it will be possible to reach real independence of the judicial system,” Poghosyan wrote.
