Moscow to wait for formation of government in Armenia: Lavrov
It is necessary to wait for the formation of the government in Armenia to understand how these processes may influence including on the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, Russia’s foreign affairs minister Sergey Lavrov stated on Monday, RIA Novosti reports.
“The elections have just taken place, it is not clear yet how these results will influence on the formation of the political life in new conditions. Let’s wait until government is formed there,” Lavrov stated, asked how the elections in Armenia may influence the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh.
He said Moscow takes the view that the trilateral agreements – Russia-Azerbaijan-Armenia – that halted the war and started the process of agreeing over economic interaction work.
