Russian military delegation to arrive in Armenia to discuss military cooperation programs

Armenia's acting minister of defense Vagharshak Harutyunyan hold a phone conversation on July 8 with the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, army general Valery Gerasimov.
The interlocutors discussed the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani Gegharkunik and Syunik provinces' border sections, ways of the solution as well as Russia's peacekeeping mission in Nagorno Karabakh.
Harutyunyan and Gerasimov also referred to the agenda of the negotiations with the Russian delegation that is due to Armenia in the upcoming days to discuss bilateral programs on boosting Armenian-Russian military cooperation.
The two also referred to the course of wide-range of reforms launched in the Armenian Armed Forces.
