Armenian Defense Minister leaves for Moscow
Armenian Defense Minister Arshak Karapetyan went on a working visit to Moscow to meet with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.
"On August 10, Defense Minister Arshak Karapetyan, at the invitation of Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, went on a working visit to Moscow," the statement says.
It is planned that the head of the Armenian Defense Ministry will meet with his Russian counterpart in Moscow, as well as hold a number of other working meetings.
Earlier, Armenia announced the deployment of Russian border guards in the Tavush region.
