Peacekeepers practice fighting against drones in the Lachin corridor
The Russian peacekeepers conducted a planned exercise aimed at "preventing possible violations with the use of unmanned aircraft of a conditional enemy and ensuring security at observation posts in the Lachin corridor", according to a newsletter of the Russian peacekeepers on Monday.
Classes were held in six training places where the servicemen worked out new tactical techniques and actions to block a conditional violator, prevent violations and possible attacks on the post.
"A special feature of the exercise were tasks aimed at detecting an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in the area of responsibility of the observation post with the transmission of information to the control point of the Russian peacekeeping contingent via closed communication channels," the message says.
